Just a few more photographs of the river .

I think this little waterfall is a recent construction- the purpose of which I do not know / perhaps to help aerate the water ?

Nice yellow shirt - hope the fish are not scared away ..

Guardamar - Rio Segura

I've never seen the rio Segura so high - the increased water levels are certainly attracting the anglers.

It's not only the recent heavy rain fall that has helped raise the water level but a lot of work has been done in draining the river bed and repairing the water courses.

Return trip ...

March saw a three week trip to Spain - we had hoped that the weather would be good but unfortunately the weather at times was rather cold and wet.

While we were in Spain snow actually hit several areas of the country so I guess we were lucky with just rain and a cold spell.

I've some new photos to add to the Blog but I'm afraid not too many .
