The story of our adventure in Spain

In October 2002 we purchased a holiday flat in Guardamar on Spain's Costa Blanca - not far from Alicante and Torrevieja and we try to spend a good part of the year in Spain.

This blog hopefully will contain our thoughts and impressions of Spain - the good and the bad and lots and lots of photographs of not only Guardamar but the rest of Spain as we eventually get to explore it.

PhotoHunt - Colourful

A  colourful wall here in Guardamar ..  Someone has been very busy with the paint spray ..

These rubbish bins are sunk into the ground and there is a large container underneath .. do not worry about the mattress - it will be collected overnight by the refuse collectors - you are allowed to leave bulky items near the rubbish bins and they are collected usually 2 or 3 times a week.

Spain has a lot of painted walls - Spain has lots of graffiti !    .... ¡  España tiene mucho mucho grafiti ... !  All highly coloured ....

Love the shot! We don't see a lot of graffiti in our rural area. Thanks for the visit. ¡Vaya con Dios!

My kids (skateboarders) would love this art work. I would like to do this in Elijah's room, but I'm not that talented. Thanks for visiting me...

Our graffiti artists are neither as talented nor as clever as those who painted that wall. We just get rural college town gang tags (i.e. high school students with no creativity and too much time on their hands).

Thanks for visiting today and for leaving the lovely comment.
