This sad old ruin is not far from the centre of Guardamar - just near the bus station.
In the old days this may have housed a family - now it lies a sad reminder of the past amongst the orange trees.
No doubt it will stay like this for some time unless a builder wants to acquire the land which is unlikely in these uncertain times ..

What a great shot! I particularly like the "painting" of the explosives barrel - very funny counterpoint to the ruins themselves.
I love the textures of "ruined". Here's mine:

Have a great weekend!
Nice take on the theme! Perfect too! Yup, it's sad. But hopefully someone will restore the place!~
Very similar to mine. Always sad.
Nature certainly seems to be reclaiming her right to her own land! Great shot!
Maybe the owners are just around waiting for the perfect time to rebuild the structure.
Ruins always fascinate me...to think about the life that once was!
Excellent photo tho. If it could only talk, those walls...what stories we could hear.
My Native American Sonoran Desert Ruin is posted...come join me, won't you?
Happy Hunting!
What a great, but sad, photo. So real estate is bad in Spain, too, is it? I wish I could buy up some land there-- it's beautiful!
I did Photo Hunt today, too. I hope you get a chance to visit and leave your link!

Wow, nice shot! I've never been to Alicante, even though I don't live all that far away (Valencia! :)).
Ruins are so fascinating...
