The story of our adventure in Spain

In October 2002 we purchased a holiday flat in Guardamar on Spain's Costa Blanca - not far from Alicante and Torrevieja and we try to spend a good part of the year in Spain.

This blog hopefully will contain our thoughts and impressions of Spain - the good and the bad and lots and lots of photographs of not only Guardamar but the rest of Spain as we eventually get to explore it.

How long

How long before this rock goes crashing into the sea ? The coast here near La  Zenia is crumbling away - every time we go for a walk  we see some more signs of erosion.

It's a very pleasant walk along the cliffs  - but not in the height of the summer - far too hot.

Well I'm not too sure about where to run . locally people run through the pine forest at Guardamar - where some of the roads are traffic free and there is shade .

If you like to run on golden sand the beach stretches from Guardamar to La Mata and takes us 90 minutes plus to walk from one end to the other so I guess you could get a good run ...

The town itself hosted a " run " last week so there must be some interest in the sport - have a look at Guardamar Digital - they may print some photographs.
