A Stranger in Town ..
An Englishman in Spain - thoughts and impressions.
The story of our adventure in Spain
In October 2002 we purchased a holiday flat in Guardamar on Spain's Costa Blanca - not far from Alicante and Torrevieja and we try to spend a good part of the year in Spain.
This blog hopefully will contain our thoughts and impressions of Spain - the good and the bad and lots and lots of photographs of not only Guardamar but the rest of Spain as we eventually get to explore it.

La primera cerveza light con todo el sabor - the number one light beer with all the flavour - Cruzcampo
Petrus, thank you for visiting my blog. You mentioned your late father was in the Royal Signals. My father was sent to Naples to help set up the Allied Communications Headquarters. He was a Captain in the US Army Signal Corps !! Maybe our fathers met?? Did your father serve at anytime in Naples?
By the way, your photos on your blogs are beautiful. Sandra

That seems a real thirst quencher but I'd rather have the bottled water in the background. :)

Hi Sandra
I do not think my father served in Naples - I know he was in Cortina and I have postcards he left - non show the Naples area.
Cheers
I welcome cerveza anytime! For whatever reason I love anything that has bitterish taste...LOL
