No current photos of Spain / this year we've had to remain in the UK - however here is a picture of Benidorm taken in 2009.

I doubt if much has changed in the last 4 or 5 years.

Quiet here in January but hopefully come July and August these streets will be crowded with tourists just waiting to spend  their hard earned cash !

Benidorm - Down by the harbour.

Time to pull your boat ashore - with the help of a tractor.

Benidorm has a busy little harbour complete with local excursions around the area and also as far as Alicante in the main tourist season.

Benidorm - Let us not forget ..

Let us not forget that not too long ago Benidorm was just a small fishing village .

This statue I think is dedicated to those seafarers who were saved from a watery grave or indeed did not survive.

The new bus station at Benidorm - very modern and complete with shops and supermarkets.

Here you can get buses to Bulgaria, Rumania and Poland !

La estación de autobuses nueva - muy moderna con tiendas y supermercado.

I love Benidorm

Some people love it -others loathe it - BENIDORM.

Certainly noisy,busy and vibrant.

50 minutes by bus (ALSA) from Alicante - cost Euro 3.95 single ..

Me encanta Benidorm.

La gente quiere mucho o la gente no le gusta nada -BENIDORM.

Ruidoso, alegre y concurrido.

50 minutos de Alicante en autobús (ALSA) - el precio Euro 3.95 ida.

Here's the sea front at Benidorm - famous for its thousand of visitors - somewhat larger than Guardamar !

You'll find all the attractions of Blackpool or Margate here - non stop action and entertainment.

Now linked directly to Alicante by the new tramway . In the summer period it is possible to take a boat trip to Benidorm from Alicante just for the day - this is on my list of " to do "
