The story of our adventure in Spain



In October 2002 we purchased a holiday flat in Guardamar on Spain's Costa Blanca - not far from Alicante and Torrevieja and we try to spend a good part of the year in Spain.

This blog hopefully will contain our thoughts and impressions of Spain - the good and the bad and lots and lots of photographs of not only Guardamar but the rest of Spain as we eventually get to explore it.

Quesada - On the hill .


These villas are perched on the hill overlooking the golf course .

Just like miniature castles ...





I'm not sure I'd want my home so near to an edge like that !!

La Marquesa Golf



Golf is very popular on the Costa Blanca - this is La Marquesa Golf at Quesada.



For those interested it is 18 hole, par 72 and 5799m. No doubt that will mean something to someone.


I think that the Golf House is somewhere in this complex of shops and restaurants.


It all looks very impressive - for more info just Google ...
