The story of our adventure in Spain



In October 2002 we purchased a holiday flat in Guardamar on Spain's Costa Blanca - not far from Alicante and Torrevieja and we try to spend a good part of the year in Spain.

This blog hopefully will contain our thoughts and impressions of Spain - the good and the bad and lots and lots of photographs of not only Guardamar but the rest of Spain as we eventually get to explore it.

Another trip


Another 4 week trip to Spain - very hot and sunny - in some ways too hot for our liking.

Not an altogether successful visit - due to illness - but I will not dwell on that ...

Guardamar is returning to a normal quiet life after the tourists and holidaymakers have returned home.

Some new enterprises have opened and as normal others have closed - even the CAM Bank has shut one of it's branches ..

Hopefully more photographs to show over the coming weeks.

We have come home again with the good intention of really trying to master the language - this time !!! So out with the text books ...
